Boy am I bored... You'd think for the surprising (at least to me) sums of money these people are paying me they'd want me to actually... well, DO something! This is a little unfair, but not by much. I've really had about three solid days of something to do in 2 weeks, I spent 1 full day in orientation, 1 day reading a little book called "Electronic Safe-Arm Design Philosophy" and maybe a little more than a day running through all the OrCAD that I could find and making up some circuits to run simulations on. I do have some exciting news though:
I bought a car! It's a silver 2005 Toyota Prius with all the options :). The dealerships here in MN only have the fully loaded ones left, anything else is a 2-4 month wait. So I've got a navagation system, HID headlights, fog lamps, some kind of fancy stability control system, 6 CD changer AND casette player (kinda old fashioned, but handy for books on tape...), an auto dimming rear view mirror, and other nifty gadgets. It's a lot of fun, so many buttons! Anybody got any good ideas for a name?
