So, big news this week: I got a job. I am now an ECE tutor at the ARC (Academic Resource Center for the non-IIT folks). I started today, 1pm to 4pm. I'm scheduled to work 9 hours a week: 3 hours MW, 2 hours R, and 1 hour F. Today was pretty easy, found some equivalent resistances, compared phase lags, and in between people tried to study BJT amplifier circuits in case anybody decided to ask about those (which they didn't, thank goodness). Other than that, classes are fine, don't have any of my textbooks yet, the food isn't great but it'll do. I went to my first frat party ever this weekend, it was ok, pretty much what I expected. Sunday I did lots of nothing, spent 4 hours sitting at the coffee shop, reading and keeping Julia company. I'm glad I got the job at the ARC, but I still think working at the coffee shop would have been really cool...
